In early November 2011, 3 of us (Fanny Zara, Jean Yates and Cindy Sowers) conceived of a book project that involves bringing to the forefront the idea of community and how something as simple as a funny plastic doll can bring people together, inspire creativity, artistry, community, friendship, learning and mastering new skills, and giving back in some way. It’s playing with dolls on the one hand, and really playing with people and forming community on the other. We hope you will like our book!
